Most problems have a short answer. Start with the one that matches what you see.

The review button does not appear

  1. Add ?review=1 to the page address and reload.
  2. Check that the embed code is on this page. View the page source and look for widget.js.
  3. Check the site’s Allowed origins in Notiamo. The address must match exactly: https://www.example.com and https://example.com are two origins, and so is a staging address.
  4. If you pressed the × on the button, the tools are hidden in this browser. ?review=1 brings them back.
  5. If the site has a Content Security Policy, it must allow scripts and connections to https://my.notiamo.com.

The login does not work

  • Nothing opens when you press Log in to review: the browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for this site and try again.
  • “No access to this site”: your email is not invited to this client. Ask your agency contact to invite you.
  • The login link has expired: links work once and expire after 15 minutes. Ask for a new one.
  • The invite is no longer valid: invites expire after 7 days or once used. Ask for a new invite.
  • No email arrived: check the spam folder, and that you typed the address you were invited with.

A screenshot does not work

  • “Screenshots not supported on this device”: the browser cannot share a tab, which is common on phones. Attach a photo instead.
  • “You shared another window or screen, not this tab”: press Stop, then Add screenshot again and choose this tab.
  • If you refused the share by mistake, press Turn on screenshots.

A file or a text is refused

  • Photos must be JPEG, PNG or WebP; documents PDF, Word, OpenDocument or text.
  • Each file must be 10 MB or less, and a comment can have up to 10 files.
  • A text can have up to 20,000 characters. For more, attach it as a document.

A mark is in the wrong place

Pages change. When the marked text or element moved, Notiamo says so on the mark:

  • Moved or duplicated: the highlighted text is gone or now appears more than once.
  • Anchor element missing: the marked element no longer exists.
  • “Drawn at 1440px wide — positions may differ on this viewport”: the comment was made on a wider or narrower screen. Resize the window to see it in place.

The comment and its details stay readable in the Comments panel and in the dashboard.

Comments are paused

“Comments are paused for this website” means the workspace is read-only: the trial ended or there is no active plan. Everything stays readable. An admin can choose a plan on the Billing page. See Plans, trial and billing.

The AI agent finds no site

Put the file .notiamo.json in the project folder (Download .notiamo.json on the site page), or fill in the site’s Code repository. Check that the token is not revoked or expired, and that it is not limited to another site. See Connect an AI agent.
