You do not need to watch your email. Notiamo can show a notification on your phone or computer, also when Notiamo is closed.

Turn on notifications on this device

  1. Open Settings › Notifications.
  2. In the This device card, press Turn on notifications.
  3. The browser asks once. Allow it.
  4. Press Send a test. The test shows in a few seconds.

Do this on each phone or computer where you want notifications. To stop them on one device, press Turn off on this device.

If the browser blocks notifications from Notiamo, allow them in the browser’s site settings, then reload the page.

After you log in, a banner may offer to turn them on. Press Turn on, or Not now to hide it for 30 days.

iPhone and iPad

On iPhone and iPad, notifications only work after you add Notiamo to your Home Screen:

  1. Open the dashboard in Safari.
  2. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
  3. Open Notiamo from the Home Screen.
  4. Go to Settings › Notifications and press Turn on notifications.

What a notification shows

  • the project name and the site name;
  • who did it;
  • the start of the text;
  • what happened: a new comment, a task, a reply, a status change, a task given to you, or someone who joined.

Click the notification to open the comment.

You never get your own actions. Clients never get internal notes, and only get their own sites.

Choose what you get

In the What you get card, pick a level for Push and one for Email:

  • Everything: every new comment, reply, status change and task;
  • Only what touches me: someone mentions you with @, replies to your comment, changes the status of your comment or task, or gives you a task;
  • Off: nothing.

Workspace admins start with Everything for push. Team members and clients start with Only what touches me. Email starts with Everything for everyone.

To get only push, set Email to Off and keep push on. If no device can get push, the email still comes, so you miss nothing.

One project or one site

The Projects and sites card has three kinds of lines:

  1. All projects: your default.
  2. Each project.
  3. Each site, under its project.

A project or site line set to Default (…) follows the line above. The nearest line that is set wins. Reset puts a line back to default.

Each project page and each site page has a Notifications button. It opens these settings at that line.

Mute push for a while

Pick Mute push: For 1 hour, For 8 hours, Until tomorrow (08:00 UTC) or For 1 week. Mute stops push only. Email still comes.

App news

Tick App news to be told about:

  • a failed renewal payment (owners and admins only);
  • a new connection to your account: a new AI agent connection or a new access key.

Admins are also told when a client accepts an invite or a team member joins.

Email summaries

The Email digest card is on the same page. See Email summaries.
