Wix adds scripts from the site dashboard, not from the editor. This works for sites built in the Wix Editor and in Wix Studio.

Before you start

Wix lets you add custom code only when the site is published and has a connected domain. Connecting a domain needs a Wix premium plan. A free wixsite.com address is not enough.

Copy the embed code

In Notiamo, open Clients, then the client, then the site. In the Embed code card, press the copy button. The line looks like this:

<script src="https://my.notiamo.com/widget.js" data-site="pk_…" defer></script>

Check that the connected domain is in Allowed origins on the same page. More in Install the widget.

Add the code

  1. In your site’s dashboard, open Settings.
  2. In the Development & integrations section, click Custom Code. Older dashboards show it in the Advanced section.
  3. Click + Add Custom Code at the top right and paste the embed code.
  4. Give it a name you will recognise, for example “Notiamo”.
  5. Under Add Code to Pages, choose All pages.
  6. Under Place Code in, choose Body - end.
  7. Click Apply.

Wix ties custom code to the domain. If you later assign a different primary domain, Wix deletes the snippets: add the code again.

Check that it works

Custom code does not run in the editor. Open the published site with ?review=1 at the end of the address. The review button appears at the bottom right. If it does not, see Fix common problems.
