Windsurf’s documentation now lives under the name Devin Desktop, at docs.devin.ai. The steps below follow those docs. Notiamo has an MCP server at https://my.notiamo.com/api/mcp.
Create a token
In Notiamo, open Settings and find the Agent tokens card. Choose a name, the access and the site, press Create token and copy it. It is shown only once. The details are in Connect an AI agent.
Add the server
Both agents of Devin Desktop, Devin Local and the older Cascade, read MCP servers from the same user file:
- macOS and Linux:
~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json - Windows:
%APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json
In Cascade you can open it from the … menu at the top right of the Cascade panel, with Open MCP config file. Add the notiamo server, with your token in place of YOUR_TOKEN:
{
"mcpServers": {
"notiamo": {
"url": "https://my.notiamo.com/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
}
}
}
}
If the file already has other servers, add notiamo next to them inside mcpServers.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an admin may have to allow the server first. On Enterprise, MCP must be turned on in the settings.
Use it
In the project of a site, ask the agent: “Show the open Notiamo feedback for this site.”
The agent finds the right site through the .notiamo.json file in the project. Download it from the site page in Notiamo, or let the AI prompt create it. See Install the widget.
